Earlier this week, on Wednesday, March 14, 2024, Tyron Smith, who is currently a free agent, started trending for all the wrong reasons on X, all because of a post from a superfan. The Dallas Cowboys fan, who goes by the handle @ErnieTheCowboysFan, posted a photo of Tyron Smith pleading with the team to bring him back. However, the user’s NSFW statement caught the attention of everyone. The fan tweeted the following statement alongside the photo:

No team will allow Tyron Smith to not practice every week. No team will give Tyron Smith the quality back shots in the locker room before the game to loosen him up. No team knows Tyron Smith like the Cowboys do. BRING HIM BACK NOW!”

The tweet sparked all kinds of reactions from fans and other users. Tyron Smith found out about the incident and quickly responded with a tweet clarifying it. He stated:

I had to really jump on Twitter to address the fact that I never once took back shots in the Cowboys locker room.”
