At first, we notice that Bo-ra and her partner Ju-wan were hoping desperately for a wedding proposal so that they may start their married lives together. But it doesn’t appear that her partner will be popping the question anytime soon. Instead, she chooses to propose to him, only to discover that he has been cheating on her with a woman he had introduced to her as his cousin. Despite applying her own advice to her own romantic life, the love coach nevertheless ends up miserable.

She runs across Su-hyeok, a chilly book editor, at her lowest point, and he ends up witnessing all of her breakdowns and humiliating moments. They were at an impasse at first, but now that they’re writing a book together, they’re making an effort to get to know one another. In the most recent episodes, we learn that he is in fact attracted to Bo-ra but is unwilling to show it.
Bo-ra shares her sentiments, yet his lack of expression baffles her. However, Ju-wan makes an effort to get Bo-ra back after witnessing her progress in other relationships. He attempts to win her back and prevent Su-hyeok from getting any closer to her by any means necessary. As Bo-ra had only wished to reconcile with Ju-wan, Su-hyeok falls for the ploy despite Bo-ra’s initial resistance to the idea of being friends with him.

Bo-ra admits to Su-hyeok when he won’t. He keeps mute, but as she leaves, he explains that he can’t put his emotions first and doesn’t know what to say because he’s not sure if dating is good for them. After everything, Bo-ra thinks it was the end of their romance.
Ju-wan proposes with a ring after supper. Thinking that Bo-ra would readily take him back because of his commitment. Bo-ra closes the ring box and refuses. Before he could argue, his ex-girlfriend Da-mi arrives. Da-mi spills wine on him and Bo-ra leaves.
Su-hyeok holds her hand and leads her outside. He asks instead of confessing. She tells him to say what he likes and feels about her. He says expressing is hard for him, but he likes her flaws. Su-hyeok kissed her to give her a drama-like conclusion and start dating. Bo-ra finally obtains the ring she wanted.
