Trolley has teased a mystery K-drama directed by Kim Mun Kyo in which the wife of a National Assembly member who has been covertly concealing her history suddenly encounters a threat that could reveal all to the public.
A mental conflict between Kim Hye Joo and Nam Joong Do is central to the plot, which is based on the famous “trolley dilemma.”
Date And Time Of K-Drama Trolley’s Release In 2022
The brand-new K-drama Trolley will premiere on SBS and later on Netflix with English subtitles on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 10 p.m. KST/8 a.m. ET/6.30 p.m. IST/5 a.m. PT/1 p.m. GMT.
On Tuesday, December 20, Trolley will air Episode 2. December 26 and 27 will see the release of ep 3 and 4 at the same time.
Plot And Cast For Trolley
K-dramas on Netflix Kim Hyun Joo plays Kim Hye Joo, Park Hee Soon plays Nam Joong Do, Kim Mu Yeol plays Jang Woo Jae, Ryu Hyun Kyung plays Jin Seung Hee, and Ki Tae Young plays Choi Ki Young in Trolley.
Kim Hye Joo Is Played By Kim Hyun Joo
Kim Hye Joo, the wife of assemblyman Nam Joong Do, will be portrayed by actress Kim Hyun Joo. She has a lot of secrets that are revealed to the public. The director has hinted that the character’s unorthodox job—that of a bookbinder—reflects the character’s mentality.
The actress said in an online press conference about her leading role in the K-drama. As per the Korea Times, “When I first read the screenplay [for the series], it seemed like I was reading a mystery novel. I had a strong wish to survive because [the plot] seemed to be engulfed in a thick layer of mist. I chose to participate because I was genuinely interested in learning how [my character] would navigate through this mist.”
Nam Joong Do Park Hee Soon As
Actor Park Hee Soon portrays Nam Joong Do, an assemblyman who directly affects the creation of laws. He is Kim Hye Joo’s husband as well. When Nam Joong Do’s personal and professional lives collide, he finds himself in a challenging situation.
He is keeping information from his wife in order to cover up something deeper, as the preview makes clear.
Season Guide
Beginning on December 19, 2022, a new episode of the Netflix K-drama Trolley will be available every Monday and Tuesday. There will be 16 episodes in all for the drama. On February 7, 2023, the conclusion will air.
