Triple H, alias Paul Levesque, one of the most iconic WWE superstars of all time, has declared his retirement from in-ring events, which means he will no longer compete in any wrestling matches. After suffering a heart condition last September, ‘The Game’ chose to retire from professional wrestling.
Triple H Health And Heart Condition Forces Him Into Retirement, Know His Heart Attack, Surgery
After enduring serious trauma in September 2021, the 52-year-old WWE legend recently opened out about his decision to retire from in-ring competitions due to life-threatening cardiac ailments, stating that he wasn’t sure whether he’d make it.
Triple H described how his lungs and arms were full of fluid after he was stricken with pneumonia in a recent interview with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s First Take. ‘The Game,’ as he is affectionately referred to by his followers, revealed more heartbreaking information.
He had viral pneumonia where his lungs became enflamed and after learning that he had fluid around his lungs and heart, he got increasingly worse. Triple H had had only 30 percent of his heart ejection fraction working before arriving at the emergency room with it eventually nosediving to 12% ahead of his heart catheterization surgery.
Triple H’s last wrestling match was during a June 2019 WWE live event and his last televised event was later that month.

Born on July 27, 1969, Paul Michael Levesque, better known by his ring moniker Triple H, is an American business entrepreneur, actor, and retired professional wrestler. He was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire.
He is the WWE’s executive vice president of global talent strategy and development at the moment. He is also the NXT brand’s executive producer.
Stephanie McMahon was Triple H’s wife. Aurora Rose Levesque, Murphy Claire Levesque, and Vaughn Evelyn Levesque are their three daughters.
His WWE Career
Triple H rose to prominence in the WWF after co-founding the powerful D-Generation X stable, which constituted a big part of the 1990s’ “Attitude Era.” He has led a number of important WWE pay-per-view events, including seven times closing the company’s biggest yearly event, WrestleMania.
Triple H was a five-time Intercontinental Champion, three-time world tag team champion (two World Tag Team Championship reigns and one Unified WWE Tag Team Championship reign), two-time European Champion, and fourteen-time world champion during his career, making him the company’s 7th Triple Crown Winner and second Grand Slam Winner.
He’s also a two-time winner of the Royal Rumble match and the King of the Ring competition. Later in his career, Triple H rose to prominence for his behind-the-scenes efforts at WWE, including the creation of the NXT developmental division and accolades for his commercial acumen in the sport.
As part of the D-Generation X group, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
