Following an impressive display at the All England Championships, Indian badminton players Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand narrowly missed out on a place in the finals after losing their women’s doubles match against the world-ranked 20 Korean duo of Baek Na Ha and Lee So Hee.

The match lasted 46 minutes and took place at the Utilita stadium in Birmingham, with the Indian pair losing 10-21, 10-21.

Her father’s name is Jolly Thaickal, who is a former physical education teacher and volleyball coach, whereas his mother’s name is Daisy Joseph, who is a teacher. Treesa Jolly also has a sister named Mariya Jolly, who is also a badminton player.

Her height is 1.76 meters or 5 feet 9 inches, and her weight is 48 kg or 106 lbs. She is currently 19 years old.

Treesa Jolly trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy and has won several notable accomplishments, including gold and silver medals in various junior events.

She has had success at the senior levels in BWF International Challenge/Series and BWF World Tour competitions, taking home the women’s doubles title at the India International Challenge in 2021 and a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in women’s doubles in 2022.
