The makers of Tower of God have now confirmed the premiere of Season 2, though the release date of the anime episode 1 is still unknown.
Since the start of 2020, Crunchyroll has produced 15 originals whilst The God of High School and In/Spectre are enjoyable anime yet so far, the best series of all time coming from the streaming giant is Tower of God.

Though this news is excellent for fans because everyone was waiting for it for a long time because Dark fantasy story line .The return news of Season 2 was announced by a recent Expo event at Crunchyroll.
The Tower of God was quite a popular show. It has a score of 7.7/10 on IMDB, 74% on Anilist, 7.56/10 on MyAnimeList, 4/5 on Anime Planet and 4.75/6 on Crunchyroll.
The future of the series was unclear for a time being when the author of manhwa Lee Jong-Hui aka SIU, had announced previously that he is taking a break from the series.
However, in the meantime the webtoon has resumed its normal release schedule and as of Aug 2022, more than 130 characters have been labelled up to Season 3.
Release Date
Although at the Expo event, Crunchyroll has revealed that the exact airdate of Season 2 would be announced at a later date. But they had revealed that the anime will be simulcast in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
Through all this details, the eagle-eye fans had made a few predictions on the potential release date of the Season 2 based on the production cycle from the first instalment.
The Tower of God anime was first announced at the Seoul Comic-Con in August 2019 and premiered on April 1st, 2020.
Assuming that the second season will experience a similar production cycle at Studio Telecom Animation Film. So, fans could be able to see season 2 return as soon as April 2023.
However, as the studio is currently working on the Rick and Morty anime, this could push the potential release date of Summer 2023, in either scenario the return of anime will be within the next 13 months.
