Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon is making headlines after he posted a picture supporting Israel’s ongoing action against Rafah, a city in Gaza, on his Instagram
For the unfamiliar, Israel has been attacking Rafah continuously for the past few days leading to the death of many and dozens injured.
Tottenham’s Manor Solomon supports Israel’s strikes on Rafah on Instagram in retaliation to all eyes on Rafah trend
The attack’s images and videos are now swirling around social media with the hashtag “All Eyes on Rafah.” Solomon took to his Instagram on May 28 and posted a picture supporting Israel’s action which reads “Where Were Your Eyes On October 7.”
Manor Solomon’ Instagram Account Deleted?
Let us remind you, previously Manor had his Instagram account removed after he updated posts related to Israel.
However, Meta said at the time that his account had “mistakenly removed,” not because of content supporting Israel, according to the social media company.

For the unversed, Solomon, had his account deactivated on Tuesday. The 24-year-old had recently shared content supporting Israelis following the Israel-Gaza war, without posting any anti-Palestine material.
One image, related to last month’s postponed Euro 2024 qualifier against Switzerland, showed a bloodstained Israel shirt and mentioned “the barbaric massacre by Hamas.”
What Did Mera Say?
The Israeli Football Association posted an image of Solomon with his mouth taped, accompanied by an Instagram symbol. Meta, Instagram’s parent company, clarified on Wednesday that the player’s account had been closed by mistake and apologized to Tottenham.
A spokesperson for Meta stated, ”Solomon’s account was mistakenly removed but has been promptly restored. His account wasn’t removed because of any content he had shared.”
Manor Solomon’s Injury Update
Tottenham contacted Meta on Tuesday, and Solomon’s Instagram account was reactivated on Wednesday. Solomon, currently injured, returned to Israel last weekend for personal reasons.
He had knee surgery In October, with manager Ange Postecoglou indicating he would be sidelined for a “few months.” Solomon stated on October 16 that he expected to be out for 12 weeks.
Last month, the Premier League recommended that clubs ban Israel and Palestine flags inside stadiums. This decision followed consultations with safety organizations and Jewish groups.
Leicester City midfielder Hamza recently avoided action for posting a message on X/Twitter that included the phrase “from the river to sea,” which the American Jewish Committee defines as anti-Semitic.
The Football Association announced it would write to all clubs, warning them that the phrase was considered “offensive to many” and should not be used in players’ social media posts.
