Tottenham Transfer News 2021/22: Club Offers Juventus Tanguy Ndombele In A Swap Deal Involving USMNT’s Weston McKennie

Tottenham are pushing hard as they strive to offload Tanguy Ndombele with the club approaching Juventus for a swap deal involving Weston McKennie

With Nuno Espirito Santo asserting that Tanguy Ndombele would not be involved for the club in their forthcoming scrimmage with Southampton, it was clear that the player had no future at the club. And as Tanguy submitted a transfer request at Tottenham, it was clear that he would be offloaded by the club prior to 31st August.

Joining the side in 2019, things have never really clicked off for the club’s record signing. Shunned by Jose Mourinho, hampered by persistent injuries and injury issues, Ndombele has failed to ever showcase why the club broke the bank for him.

Tottenham Transfer News 2021/22: Club Approaches Juventus For Weston McKennie

Looking for a new venue, Tanguy Ndomeble has now been offered to Serie A side Juventus. Reports coming from Italy suggest that Tottenham are interested in swapping Ndombele with Juventus and USMNT’s Weston McKennie.

While there’s no update on the proposed deal, its highly unlikely that Juventus will be eager to go ahead with the swap deal. Weston is touted as one of the most promising prospects at Juventus, a player who endured a pathbreaking campaign under the tutelage of Pirlo last term.

Meanwhile Juventus are said to have tried their hand at their own direct swap offer as well with the club said to be interested in Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic for whom they have offered Nemanja Matic. While the club is bound to be spurned in this offer, the team has seen some good news filter in with Cristiano Ronaldo asserting that he’ll be sticking with the side for this term.
