Conte’s side were up against Southampton in the Premier League and were leading 1-0 and eventually 3-1.
However, things turned sour as they conceded a goal and another 93rd-minute equalizer, which ended the game in a draw. Spurs are now just two points ahead of fifth-placed Newcastle, who have two games in hand. Both teams are currently battling for a Champions League qualification and the draw came as a blow for Spurs.
Southampton fans would however agree that their goals were deserved having more xG points even without the penalty.

Conte sparks outburst following 3-3 draw against Southampton
While speaking after the match, Conte spoke in an outburst against the club and the players saying:
“We are 11 players that go into the pitch. I see selfish players, I see players that don’t want to help each other and don’t put their heart (in).”
Conte further added
You risk to disrupt the figure of the manager and to protect the other situation in every moment. Until now I try to hide the situation but now, no because I repeat, I don’t want to see what I have seen today because this is unacceptable and also unacceptable for the fans.”
Following the result and outburst, Conte is now clear favourite moving past David Moyes. Interestingly, Moyes’ fate could also depend on Southampton, who they face next after the international break.
