Tottenham New Manager News: Ideal Candidates For The Club As Daniel Levy Traverses For A Name To Take Over From Ryan Mason

Tottenham are looking at a list of new potential candidates to become their manager for the 2021-22 season of the Premier League

Not only do Tottenham need a new manager, with it amazing to get Pochettino back – but Levy now has to appease angry fans. After a horrific last year for the Tottenham fans, Daniel Levy has a lot of criticism on his plate to swallow.

After parting ways with Mauricio Pochettino, they have struggled to find a suitable replacement which indeed is a downfall after an extraordinary Champions League Campaign. A poor form of domestic results was stated as a reason behind his dismissal.

Tottenham were poor in the season after that extraordinary run to the last year’s Champions League final, they were 14th in the Premier League when he was sacked. Daniel Levy summarized Tottenham’s performance as “extremely disappointing”.

Jose Mourinho The Anti Hero?

Jose Mourinho has been sacked four times in the past 10 years, he first got sacked by Real
Madrid back in May 2013. He then returned back to England and in his first season lead
Chelsea to a respective 3rd finish in the Premier League.

After Tottenham appointed him in 2019, he was never able to fulfill the expectations of the club, and more importantly, he was not able to win over the fans. Mourinho was not able to cope with the mediocrity of the club and the high expectations of the management.

He is still one of the best managers out there and has been appointed by Italian club AS Roma as their head coach. One day he will be back fighting against the elites of European football, being a tactician of the game helps him getting a job.
