The 2021 BWF World Championships (formally known as the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2021 due to sponsorship reasons) is a badminton competition that will take place in Huelva, Spain from December 12 to 19, 2021.

Venue 

During the announcement of 18 major badminton event hosts from 2019 to 2025 in November 2018, Huelva was awarded the event.

Prediction

Axelsen, the Olympic champion, will have to be on his toes right away, since his first-round opponent is Loh Kean Yew, who took him to three games in the Indonesia Open final last week. The Indian in the match is also expected to have a tough run considering how his last few matches went.

However, what is sure is that the matches are going to be interesting. They would have been a level up had few top players not withdrawn from the event.
