After a long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Tony Yoka and Martin Bakole return to the ring on Saturday night. The Francophone pair was supposed to meet on January 15 in Paris, but due to increased restrictions imposed by France due to an outbreak of diseases, the event had to be postponed. Yoka had scheduled to fight Filip Hrgovic at the time, but the fight fell through, and a new bout was set for May.

Tony Yoka vs Martin Bakole Prediction

Bakole has the size and strength to pose a threat to Yoka, but Yoka has shown a strong chin thus far. On paper, this appears to be the toughest test of Yoka’s slow-moving pro career, and one that he must overcome if he intends to earn a world title shot down the road. Bakole is going to give Yoka everything he can take, but experts expect Yoka to do enough to stay unblemished for now.
