Junichiro and Tomo were anxious to win their academy’s marathon. They easily overtake the other students in their school as the race starts. However, Tomo takes the boy’s route and falls from weariness when they were returning. She had also raced for hours the previous night and fallen asleep while having a shower. Misuzu suggested Tomo make herself look more vulnerable to the school nurse.
Tomo’s mom drives her to the doctor after Jun drops her at the front of his school. Later, when Jun pays Tomo a visit to her house, she gives him her old portable gaming console back. She said that he has finally caught up to her in strength. This reminds Jun of his previous school days when he was shocked to find out that Tomo is a girl. He did not talk with Tomo for an entire year as he was afraid of people misunderstanding their relationship.
