“I played a really high-level today,” said Paul in a post-match interview, reported AFP. He further said, “I knew how I wanted to play him, so I came out and executed it well.” The American ended by saying that he was “happy” with his performance.
The happiness did not last long as he got defeated today at the Indian Wells Masters Round of 32 by Alex de Minaur of Australia.
