After being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, Tom Parker, a member of the British-Irish boy band ‘The Wanted,’ died. He was 33 years old at the time. Parker died on Wednesday, “surrounded by his family and bandmates,” according to the band.

Parker received treatment and radiation after learning of his illness in October 2020. He joined the band on stage for their long-awaited reunion tour earlier this year.

Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, and Nathan Sykes of ‘The Wanted’ claimed that they were “devastated” by their bandmate’s “tragic and premature loss.”

Who Was Tom Parker?

Thomas Anthony Parker was a British vocalist who was most known for being a member of The Wanted, a British boy band. Parker and his bandmates starred in the E! channel reality television series The Wanted Life in 2013. Parker began a solo career after his band disbanded in 2014.

Parker was born and raised in the English town of Bolton, in the Greater Manchester region. Noreen Parker is his father’s name, and Nigel Parker is his mother’s name. He was his parents’ youngest child. Tom was British and English by nationality.

Tom is said to have graduated from a nearby high school. Similarly, he studied Geography at Manchester Metropolitan University. He quit college, though, to pursue a professional singing career.

In 2018, Parker married Kelsey Hardwick. Their son Bodhi was born in 2020, and their daughter Aurelia was born in 2019.
