Takemichi promises Hinata that he will defend her in all situations, including death. The two unite when he urges her to put their split behind them.
Draken observes that despite Takemichi’s weakness with ladies and his mediocre fighting skills, he is still reliable when it concerns him. He makes an anonymous comparison between Takemichi and another guy. After seeing them together again, Hinata’s dad decides against breaking things. Her mom has warned him that if he tries to get involved again, Hinata could cut him off. Mikey confesses that when he is alone, he often feels confused and loses track of the line between good and evil.
