After Pah’s defeat, Chin’s Peh-Yan calls out to Mikey and challenges him to a battle. The twins in the chapter, Angry and Smiley, accompany him. Mikey is merciless as always, ruthlessly beating up Peh-Yan and Smiley.
Takemichi had a vision after mistakenly touching the railway lines. The coming train killed all his friends which frightened him a lot. Mikey’s lack of compassion for his old buddies terrifies Angry. He was sobbing but does not embarrass himself. Mikey quietly assures him that he has won, even though it is doubtful whether he has defeated Angry.

Takemichi becomes very depressed as his members of the team fall. He goes into a negative slide and began to doubt his own joy, fearing it was a risky gamble. Takemichi’s shifting attention upsets Kakucho. He is irritated that the Toman President is not focussed on their battle. With every story, the potential of Hanma and Mikey both having time-leapers grows. Mikey has fallen into a spell that maybe even Takemichi cannot dispel. Hanna’s origins and intentions stay secret, specifically his instant loyalty to Mikey.
Kakucho, furious, hits Takemichi and throws him hurtling across the train rails. In his misery, Takemichi grasps the railing to lift himself up and is immediately hit by a glimpse of the future. He spots an arriving train, which strikes and killed every member of his team except Senju. Haruchiyo seems to be in charge of the trains.
