After a delay of more than a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Tokyo Olympics is all set to begin from July 23rd. Moreover, the tournament will begin in its usual way with an opening ceremony. More than 1000 athletes from 206 countries will be taking part in this mega 2020 summer Olympics which is going to be held in Tokyo. Furthermore, the event will be on 8th August and will last for 15 days. The motto of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is United by Emotion and Moving Forward.

The event will start at 8:00 PM JST which means 4:30 in India. The National Stadium based in Tokyo will be hosting the event which has a seating capacity of more than 80,000 fans. The stadium is re-constructed and was handed to IOC in 2019 for the preparations.

After the Covid outbreak, the Olympics was postponed in 2021 and now it is going to kick off. Furthermore, the organizing committee decided that due to the pandemic the games and events will take place without any audience.
Only the athletes and a team of 6 officials are allowed in the event and there will be no fans in the stadium. So, it is not possible for fans to buy tickets and attend the matches of Olympics. However, they can enjoy it from their TV or smartphones watching live.
