The spokesperson further added, “There will be a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family.” No other details have been revealed as of now.
Her official Instagram post informed her followers of her passing. “We announce the demise of Tina Turner with deep sorrow. She enthralled millions of admirers around the world with her songs and her infinite zest for life, inspiring today’s stars to greatness.”
The statement further read, “We say goodbye to a close friend today, leaving behind her greatest contribution to the world: her music. Our deepest sympathies are with her family. We will miss you dearly, Tina.”
