The Northview High School senior Kara Santorelli died Friday morning when an oncoming Chevy sedan collided with her vehicle while she was driving in her hometown Florida. On Saturday, a memorial was held at Pensacola Beach to remember her.

Who was Kara Santorelli?
Kara, a social media influencer, had over 45k TikTok followers. The majority of her content consisted of lip-sync videos in which she discussed subjects that other people would find interesting. Trending content was also featured in several of these. Additionally, her content received more than 50k views, and more people kept returning to follow her.
Some individuals were quick to point out that just a few days prior to the sad tragedy, Kara had bragged about her driving abilities. “When they try to call me a horrible driver although I’ve never hit a person or a real car,” she was seen claiming as she spoke about having never been in an accident.

As stated in the news, the collision occurred on U.S. 29 close to Quintette Road. Kara was driving a Nissan SUV north when she hit an unnamed driver who was driving a Chevy Sedan south. Kara was a senior at Northview High School, which also issued a statement on the incident.
“Today, after spring break, we say goodbye to our students with heavy hearts. We sincerely regret the tragic passing of Kara Santorelli, a senior at our school. We cling tenaciously to the lovely memories she left behind.” The collision also claimed the life of the other driver.
