At the time of the incident, Montrell was out shopping for groceries for his grandmother at the supermarket.

The social media personality was gunned down outside a Warehouse district grocery store when he sat in his car.
The police department of New Orleans have confirmed that the 43-year-old was not intended to be the target of the crime.
The firing took place between 2 men in the parking lot of the store. The star went home to New Orleans for the Christmas holiday to meet his mother and grandmother.
The authorities have released the surveillance pictures of 2 suspects alongside a gray and silver Sedan getaway car.
The cops have also released a picture of a woman whose identity is Dyamonique Smith. The authorities are currently looking for the woman to ask questions, however, they have yet to make an arrest in the case.
The Police department of New Orleans took to Twitter and shared a picture of 2 alleged suspects as they penned down the statement, “The New Orleans Police Departmentโs Homicide Section is requesting the publicโs assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with the Homicide of a 43-year-old man.
For those who are unfamiliar with Montrell, let us tell you, the star is widely known for his series of clips ‘Hood History.’
In his footage, Montrell represented historic locations throughout the Crescent City. The comedian has recently located to LA to pursue his career in the entertainment industry but went to New Orleans to spend holidays with family.
In an earlier statement, Montrell’s mother, Sherilyn Price, stated that “My son was not just the victim of a stray bullet.”
Sherilyn told the outlet DailyMail in a conversation that “He’s the victim of decades of neglect that have left New Orleans’ youth with no hope for a future and with no real fear of consequences.”
There is no information on if the 43 year old comedian was married with his net worth at $500,000. He was born in New Orleans.
