Ariel Escobar Smashed Into Devon Starling’s Car.
Devon Starling, a TSU football player, called the police to report that Ariel Escobar, the director of football operations and on-campus recruiting, was parked in her car at his apartment at 2:30 a.m. when he and his girlfriend, Mia Kanu, got home. Escobar is 22 years old. Escobar was asked to leave the property by the couple, but she resisted. Later on, Escobar chased the couple into a nearby parking lot as they made an attempt to drive around her car to escape the situation. However, Escobar then prevented their car from leaving and crashed into it while they were still inside.
She backed up and rammed the car again after being dissatisfied with the initial damage, but this time she only did little damage. Prior to the arrival of the police, she ran away, but shortly after, she returned to the victim’s apartment and destroyed the front door before being apprehended. She claimed she came back to make Mr Starling admit to his new girlfriend that he had just had sex with Escobar the day before.
Escobar Has Been Detained.
Ariel Escobar, of Great Circle Road in Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested on two grounds of severe assault using a deadly weapon and destruction on December 3rd and taken to the Metro Nashville Jail. Her bond was set by a judicial commissioner at $7,000.
That bond seems weak for someone who just attempted to murder two people with her car without even thinking twice. However, now it remains to be seen with whom Starling will continue. Escobar or Kanu? How about both?
