Rolling Loud has been accused of being racist towards Indians with the controversy now blowing up on Twitter/X ahead of its India concert
By introducing its well-liked hip-hop music festival to India, Rolling Loud hopes to increase its worldwide impact.
Rolling Loud revealed their intentions to start Rolling Loud India on Thursday, June 12. Their objective is to embrace the flourishing rap scene in the nation, including its well-known subgenres, such as Malayalam, Haryanvi, and Punjabi hip-hop. Other international venues such as Portugal, Austria, Toronto, Australia, Germany, Rotterdam, and, most recently, Thailand, saw great success with the event.

However, Rolling Loud was criticized by Indians after they reacted to a post by the company on Twitter which has now been deleted. The criticism came after the event in India was announced with social media users digging out a comment by Rolling Loud which alluded to the company being racist towards Indians.
The controversy was sparked after famer wakeup who goes by @F1LTHYwakeup on Twitter/X and is believed to be close to Carti B commented “Fatty throwing p**p on stage” in reply to a post revealing that Rolling Loud would be coming to India with the company replying with “You are hell lol” as they joined in to mock India.
Indians should have self respect and refrain from attending Rolling Loud India unless the festival organizers issue an official apology
In a post, Rolling Loud announced Maharashtra as their venue with the festival likely to place in Mumbai. After this post, people began tagging CM Devendra Fadnavis and asked him to stop the event from taking place in India. Tariq Cherif is the co-founder and CEO of Rolling Loud. Many accounts also called for Zomato which is the ticketing partner to cancel its association with Rolling Loud for its India event.

Rolling Loud India
In a statement, Rolling Loud co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif said, “We never imagined Rolling Loud would take us all the way to India, it’s incredible.”
Mumbai will host the two-day Rolling Loud India event, which is being organized in collaboration with the District app. The dates, the location, and the performers are among the facts that the event organizers have not yet disclosed. They have, however, stated that the District app will be the only way to purchase tickets for the forthcoming festival.
Playboi Carti, A$AP Rocky, and Peso Pluma were the main acts at the last Rolling Loud concert in California. With landmark events in Miami and Los Angeles, the festival also commemorated its tenth anniversary.
Even though the lineup, dates, and venue are yet unknown, anticipation is already growing on social media. The tickets will be sold on the District app once they come out.
This chipmunk faced loser @F1LTHYwakeup who is Carti’s side chick has audacity to troll Indians
Shame on you @RollingLoud for laughing at this

Possible collaborations to advance inclusivity and intercultural cooperation with Indian labels, streaming services, and cultural brands.
From stage design to carefully chosen pop-up stores with local artists, Rolling Loud has attempted to integrate local culture not only musically but also visually and experientially in previous editions.
