Long Haochen fought with the monster in order to save his teammate.
In the beginning, he tried to chain the monster with the help of his furnace. However, that did not work for a long time and the monster eventually overpowered Long Haochen. Cai Er activated her pillars of reincarnation magic which has a power level of 9. Long Haochen recalls the words of her grandfather about how she will lose all her senses if she will use that power. Therefore, Long Haochen kissed Cai Er in order to help her calm down.
