Just before the start of the final of the Carabao Cup between Liverpool and Chelsea, the Reds’ midfielder Thiago Alcantara was forced to withdraw the following injury. The Spaniard was in the Starting XI for the Wembley fixture. The injury left the player in tears as he was not being able to play in the major final for his side and his first major final. He was then consoled by team-mate Alisson.
