Episode 12 of The Worst of Evil is the series finale, and it shows that Jun-Mo’s inquiry was successful. However, there is a significant cost involved. She trusts Jun-Mo enough to provide him the address where to send the package to Japan.
After Hwang Min-Goo discovers Jun-Mo’s true identity, he destroys her trust by notifying her of it. She can’t believe Jun-Mo is married and a police officer. The latter’s silence provides all the information she needs when she confronts him. After that, she stabs the cop to death.
