The series has come out with its first 3 episodes already. and the 4th episode is also scheduled to come out really soon!
The first 4 episodes of The Resort are directed by Ben Sinclair.
In an interview, showrunner Andy Siara said, “Ben Sinclair, who directed the first four episodes, he had brought [it] in as one of his ideas because he felt it connected… He felt like, without giving it away, that it plays into something larger. We kind of needed something, a visual representation of that, perhaps.”
The Resort Recap
The mysterious story begins with Noah and Emma celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary in the Mayan Riviera. After crashing her bike, Emma discovers the cellphone of Sam, a teenager who went missing in 2007 just before a typhoon obliterated all evidence.
Both Emma and Noah became interested in solving the disappearance of two young teenagers, Sam and Violet, who did not appear to know each other at first, which Noah and Emma later discover is false. As Emma and Noah continue their investigation, they come across Baltasar. In addition, Luna, a resort concierge, informs Baltasar, who is hiding, that Emma and Noah are looking for him.
Noah and Emma steal into the deserted Oceana Vista Resort and discover a hotel room where Sam and Violet are having an affair. However, when Baltasar interrupts them, Sam’s phone falls down an elevator shaft just after someone attempts to call him.
Sam and Violet fall in love after his skateboard is stolen in 2007. They go in to get the skateboard after taking the keys to “Santa’s” room. An unknown intruder disturbs them as they hid in the closet.

The viewers are anticipating what turn the story will take next. The fourth episode of this thrilling series is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, 4th August 2022, at midnight PT.
