Xiao Qiao guessed that their attacks could be related to their trip to Rongjun. After reaching Rongjun, she talked to Yuan Weng about the winter wheat, but he refused.
Wei Zhao gained consciousness and wanted to settle it with force. However, Xiao Qiao convinced him to use another method. She suggested sowing discord between Yuan Weng and Wei Dan. Furthermore, she also sent one of the generals to propose to Yuan Weng’s daughter.
