There is both good and bad news concerning season 3 of The Owl House; it is in the works and the release date has just been confirmed. But unfortunately, it will also be the final installment in the series and will not be a full-length season.

The Owl House season 3 was ordered by Disney all the way back in May of 2021, before the 2nd season even premiered.
On the 14th of September, it was officially and finally confirmed via TV Guide that the 3rd season episode 1 of The Owl House would release on Saturday, 15th of October at sharp 9 PM ET/PT on Disney Channel and also on the Disney XD.
According to media reports, “The first 44-minute special, which has been titled as the “Thanks to Them,” will pick up right where The Owl House Season 2nd finale left off, with Luz and her friends stuck in the human realm — and willing to do whatever it takes to get return to the demon realm to save the Boiling Isles from Emperor Belos and the Collector.”
Moreover, the bad news is that 3rd season of The Owl House will be the final installment in the series after it was canceled by Disney. It will also not be a normal of 19–21-episode season, instead of being the “comprising three 44-minute specials.”
