The son of Emory Tate, an international chess master, and his wife Eileen, a catering assistant, Emory Andrews Tate III is the eldest of three. However, he favours Andrew Tate or “Top G” as his moniker. Tate has two younger siblings, his sister Janine and the man who regularly appears beside Andrew, his brother Tristan. He and his siblings were born in the United States and split their childhood between Chicago and Goshen, Indiana when their parents split up.
Tate learnt to play chess at the age of five and went on to compete in tournaments against adults. After Eileen and Emory Tate’s divorce. she and the brothers relocated to England.
In 2005, Tate began his training in the martial art of kickboxing at this facility. Here started the process that led to Tate becoming a world champion. He and his brother have both become quite wealthy as a result. But that was dampened by his recent incarceration and the fury his comments created.
