Andrew Tate, an internet celebrity, posted a link to a Romanian article claiming that he and his brother Tristan had been hospitalised and proclaimed, “The Matrix has attacked me”
Former kickboxing champion and British citizen Andrew Tate, who has amassed a massive online following, is currently serving time in a Romanian prison alongside Tristan.
On December 29, 2022, the brothers and two of their associates were taken into custody. The news of their arrest spread like wildfire around the world, especially when it was reported that one of the brothers had been hospitalised.

According to a Romanian news source, either Andrew Tate or his brother Tristan were hospitalised following a regular medical checkup that they underwent after being returned to custody. A consultation in a Bucharest hospital was initiated due to a preexisting medical problem, which was disclosed to the involved doctors.

According to Andrew Tate’s Twitter post, Tate appeared to be hospitalised. “I’ve been attacked by the Matrix. But they are mistaken; an idea lives on forever. Tough as Nails,” on January 8th, the influencer tweeted a screencap and a link to the aforementioned Romanian story.
What is “The Matrix” which Andrew Tate talks about?
Tate frequently alludes to the Keanu Reeves classic “The Matrix,” released in 1999. In December 2022, when he was first taken into custody, he allegedly said, “The Matrix had sent their agents.” Despite his confinement, Tate has maintained an active presence on Twitter. His profile boasts the statement “Escape the Matrix” and a link to his website, CobraTate.com.
The Matrix has attacked me.
But they misunderstand, you cannot kill an idea.

This follows the earlier this week seizure of four further luxury vehicles by Romanian officials as part of their probe into the Tate, social media personalities.

The extra vehicles were seized by prosecutors investigating the case, as was previously reported by Ramona Bolla, a spokesman for the Romanian anti-organized crime organisation DIICOTs. Seven, she added, were registered to Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who was also arrested last week in connection with the same crime. They say that some of the cars are $300,000 limited editions.
Tate’s asset empire has been seized
Bolla claims that thus far the investigation has resulted in the seizure of over ten properties owned by corporations belonging to the Tate brothers. According to the reports, two of the luxury vehicles in Tate’s web movies are a Rolls-Royce Wraith from the Black Badge range and an Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate.

This is not unexpected. The court will determine whether those cars were acquired through money generated by the purported crimes.

In addition to the brothers, two more women, identified as Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, were arrested on December 29 in Bucharest on charges of human trafficking, rape, and organising an organised crime gang. The organisation has categorically refuted the claims. The attorney for Andrew Tate, Avocat Vidineac Eugen Constantin, has stated that they intend to file an appeal against the judge’s ruling.
