Weston McKennie Sent Back To Juventus From USMNT Camp
After flouting COVID protocols in Italy earlier this year during his time at Juventus as he hosted a part of 20 people at his place during lockdown, Weston has decided to violate norms related to the pandemic once again. This time it was during his current stay with the USMNT side with him paying no heed to the COVID-19 guidelines in place.
While coach Gregg Berhalter refused to further stress upon what exactly Weston had done, the player was excluded from USA’s bygone 1-1 soccer draw with Canada. And he’s going to miss the team’s impending showdown with Honduras as well with him being sent back from the USMNT camp to his club Juventus.
Landon Donovan Gives Scathing Assessment Of Weston McKennie
In the midst of the latest developments, ex-USMNT player, Landon Donovan has slammed Weston for his antics. He’s extremely irked with the player’s behavior with him talking about how it was inexplicable for the midfielder to have broken norms during only a one week stay.
“I am incredibly disappointed in Weston, I can understand at Juventus during a long club season you’re sitting at home for months and months and you want to have people over.
This is one week of your life with three massive games. The level of selfishness is beyond me, honestly it’s beyond me,” Donovan said as he ripped into Weston.
While further details are yet to come to light, its now being speculated that Weston had slept with a counterpart’s sister with social media platforms abuzz with the player being Christian Pulisic.
