HBO has declared the release date for the upcoming series named The Last of Us, know the TV show budget, release date and cast
The series is based on a PlayStation video game of the same name.
The Last Of Us is a series that is basically based on a PlayStation video game of the same name and has been directed by Carolyn Strauss who is the creator of the HBO series Chernobyl.

According to Damian Petti, president of the Canadian artists union IATSE 212, the show’s budget exceeds CA$10 million per episode; some sources suggested the budget may be closer to US$15 million per episode, and Jason Kenney, the premier of Alberta, was reportedly told the budget could reach CA$200 million per year for season 1.

Sources have reported that HBO had no plans to announce the release date in November. They had to go through with the announcement after one HBO Max user spotted an accidental leak on the streaming site on Tuesday and made the news public.
The Last Of Us Release Date And Total Episodes
On Wednesday the release date for the much-awaited series, The Last of Us has been declared. The broadcaster has stated that the series will debut on HBO Max on January 15 2023 and its first season will have a total of nine episodes.
The Last Of Us Cast, Plot, And Teaser
The teaser of The Last of Us was released early in the month of September and it received really good reviews from viewers. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey star in lead roles in the series. Nico Parker plays Pascal and Ramsey’s daughter. Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, and Ashley Johnson also feature in the series as supporting roles.
The plot of the series is particularly on the video game. The setting is a dystopic America of the future ravaged by a zombie apocalypse. The family comprising Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) are on a mission to save the world and themselves against an impending zombie attack.
Their daughter’s role has been played by Nico Parker who holds the key against the zombie outbreak and they are seen protecting her at all costs in the trailer.

All 9 episodes in the first episode of the series have been written by Craig Mazin, Neil Druckmann and Gustavo Santaolalla. They composed the score for the game and roped in for the series as well. Naughty Dog, Playstation Productions, Sony Pictures Television, The Mighty Mint and Playstation Productions are its production companies.
