The Jengaburu Curse, a new web series created by National Award-winning director Nila Madhab Panda, has a release date.

Starting on August 9, SonyLIV will webcast the series, which discusses the urgent need for environmental preservation.
The series is written by Mayank Tewari.
Nila Madhab Reveals The Story Behind The Jengaburu Curse
Creator and director Nila Madhab Panda said, “The Jengaburu Curse is the first Indian cli-fi series. The series dives deeply into the effects of humanity’s obsessive search for natural resources, exposing the alarming results.”
He further added, “Through Jengaburu, our goal is to both amuse the audience and raise awareness about the pressing need for environmental conservation. We are excited for audiences to join us on this action-packed adventure and are happy to have assembled a brilliant cast and team.”

The Plot Story Of The Jengaburu Curse
The story, ‘The Jengaburu Curse’ revolves around a London-based financial analyst, Priya Das, who returns to her village in Odisha in search of her father when he unexpectedly disappears. A chain of events begins to play out as she starts looking for her father, and an odd link is made between the native Bondia clan and the mining state of Odisha.
