Jemimah Rodrigues is all set to represent the Northern Superchargers in the upcoming edition of The Hundred. The move sees her join the imperious Shafali Verma in the league.

The professional tournament of The Hundred this time will be welcoming a new player โ€œJemimah Rodriguesโ€™. The participation of Jemimah in this 100 ball cricket tournament was confirmed at a podcast by the BBC in which this young and dynamic player stated, โ€œI am really looking forward to the Hundred, Something new, something differentโ€.

Jemimah is excited for the coming edition of Hundred as she talked in a podcast by BCC with great enthusiasm about the sport of cricket. When she was asked about the condition of women in the sport of cricket, she very proudly announced that in the last few decades a lot has changed in the sport. Also, she added today women are enjoying equal status as men in the cricket world.

Jemimah Rodrigues will be playing as a batter in the tournament and undoubtedly she is going to win hearts with her amazing shots. She has been a part of the U17 cricket team of Maharashtra in the past and now is an integral part of the Mumbai Womenโ€™s cricket team.

Northern Superchargers represent Yorkshire, Northumberland, and County Durham in the recently founded cricket league โ€œThe Hundredโ€. The Hundreds is coming up with a brand new season on the 21st of July 2021.

The last season of the English tournament got postponed because of the ongoing medical emergency around the world but luckily it is happening this year. 21st July is scheduled as the opening ceremony of this grand event in London, United Kingdom.
