American professional wrestler, booker, and promoter Alan Robert Rogowski better known by his ring name Ole Anderson was born on September 22, 1942 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.
After graduating from high school in the Minneapolis area, he attended St. Cloud State University. Rogowski was an American Army veteran. His base was in Germany.

Anderson was a founding member of the powerful stable The Four Horsemen and a member of the Anderson family. Ole spent his storied wrestling career as a vital member of the renowned Four Horsemen squad, which also included Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, and Ric Flair.
