Last week, Bethesda revealed that the Morrowind DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online was now available to all users for free. The business announced in a blog post announcing the decision that this includes the forthcoming High Isle prologue.
The business is hoping to pique players’ interest in the High Isle chapter, and based on today’s roadmap update, it appears that there will be enough to enjoy. Although the chapter isn’t due for another two months, fans did not have to wait long for more details. A preview event focusing just on the High Isle chapter will air on Bethesda’s Livecast on April 14th at 4 p.m. ET.
How can one play this game for free this month?
If you’ve ever wanted to explore Tamriel’s territories in The Elder Scrolls Online, you may do so for free for the next two weeks. In 2015, the MMORPG ditched its necessary membership in favour of an optional paid version, but it still requires a one-time fee to get started. Players will be able to begin their quest for free now till Tuesday, April 26 at 3 pm BST (10 am EDT).
If you like what you see during the free period, you have until April 27 to pick up The Elder Scrolls Online – Blackwood on sale, with discounts of up to 70% on the standard edition and 67 percent on The Elder Scrolls Online – Blackwood. Note that these editions do not include the impending High Isle chapter, which must be purchased separately, but there is plenty to keep your adventurer occupied in Tamriel otherwise.
