The previous chapter opens with a rather tense love scene between Ichikawa and Yamada. At the moment, everyone is out of the house, but Yamada’s father is expected to come home in the morning.
Ichikawa was already having demon thoughts and knew that it could be a colossal blunder to be making here.
Yamada suddenly stopped kissing Ichikawa and took her to her room. Ichikawa knew the invitation fully but couldn’t resist. To this end, he just let Yamada take the lead.
And of course, we did have that peculiar love scene between them. For a second, I thought this was the wrong chapter, or we were changing the genre of the book. The author looked so much bold here.
At the very least, they both realized that one of them was not going to win and stopped trying to force the issue. Finally at the end of the chapter the dawn breaks.
What I find funny is that the birds chose to disturb them after sitting like that for several hours. And so, of course, none of them knows what to do, but this is a major step.
