What Exactly Happened in Episode 8 of The Dangers in My Heart
After Chihiro stated that she keeps her grades up by doing her schoolwork in the library, Yamada introduced her to Ichikawa in episode 8 of The Dangers in My Heart, titled ‘I had a Dream.’
It became clear during their conversation that Ichikawa had improved her skills in talking to women. During the parent-teacher conference, Yamada also met Ichikawa’s mom.
Later in the episode, Ichikawa rides his bike through the rain to deliver the goods Yamada left with him instead of taking them. Because of this, Ichikawa had a fever, and Yamada paid him a visit shortly thereafter. Due to his bad condition, Ichikawa was extremely sleepy when Yamada embraced him. It was later revealed that Yamada had become ill, likely as a result of his prolonged association with Ichikawa.
Will Yamada and Ichikawa become closer?
After tending to Ichikawa’s needs, Yamada experienced a sore throat, suggesting that she may fall ill in episode 9 of The Dangers in My Heart. Because of this, the second one may feel responsible for her and start taking care of her, which could lead to some touching scenes between them.
However, Yamada may be shown to finally admit that she has affection for Ichikawa. Although it’s evident from her behavior and expressions that she has feelings for Ichikawa, the anime hasn’t yet depicted her accepting this fact.
