Ever since ARMYs discovered the Camp app, they have swarmed in to register for the app, which is available on Android, iOS, and the website.
Following the departure of Jimin and Jungkook, all the BTS members have officially enlisted to serve their required military service on December 16.
‘The Camp’ app
‘The Camp’ was developed by the Korean Armed Forces as an official military community. Using the app, people can register as users to create and join communities. Moreover, the app features a specific camp system for BTS members. However, the app has a Korean-centric construction, which could be a little confusing for overseas fans.
Notably, ‘The Camp’ community website also revolves around two systems of use. The first system is called the cafe system and allows fans to view official trainee images and pictures that the soldiers’ information military officers upload. Using this system, fans can join individual cafe communities of particular soldiers and write and send letters. Meanwhile, the second system is where The Camp users can create their own community and post about anything freely.
How to register and apply for The Camp app
Interested fans can register and apply for The Camp app using the following steps:
- Register with their email IDs
- Passing through the initial agreements and verification
- Add personal details like date of birth, name, etc.
- Go to the homepage
- Search for particular soldiers to follow by entering the soldier’s name, date of birth, unit, and date of joining
- Choose the ‘fan’ option for the relationship they share with the soldier
- Wait for the official confirmation
Once the confirmation is completed, fans can join a particular soldier’s café. Notably, the BTS members’ cafe systems will only function for a week after their enlistment. As such, fans can start leaving their letters and messages for their favorite BTS members through the Camp’s website.
