Here’s taking a look at all the winners list who went home with an award last night in Zurich at The Best FIFA Awards 2021

FIFA’s The Best Awards 2021 ceremony which took place in Zurich on Monday night has now come to a close. We saw players like Robert Lewandowski, Alexia Putellas, Erik Lamela and Cristiano Ronaldo step up on stage to claim their respective awards.

With the Ballon d’Or, the Globe Soccer Awards, the UEFA player awards, and now FIFA The Best Awards all taking place in recent months, the football awards season now stands concluded.

FIFA Men’s Player of The Year : Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish striker missed out on the Ballon D’Or this year as well as last year but he has still managed to bag the FIFA Men’s Player of The Year twice in a row, beating Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah this time. Lewandowski had a fabulous year where we saw him break late German legend Gerd Muller’s record of 42 German league goals in a calendar year. He truly deserved this award for his outstanding performance this season.

FIFA Women’s Player of The Year: Alexia Putellas

Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas has now added the FIFA Women’s Player of The Year Award to her individual trophy cabinet in addition to the Ballon D’Or, the Globe Soccer player of the year and the UEFA Women’s Player of The Year, all of which she won for a year full of success and collective achievements.
