Recap of Episode 4 for The Ancient Magus Bride
The opening scene of The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Episode 5 depicts Chise Hitori’s new life at the academy. Chise Hitori makes a friend named Silky, and the two of them go around the academy chit-chatting. However, as the story progresses, Chise Hitori discovers an illusion world and meets a second enigmatic character.
The lady introduces herself as Rahad, a mage, sorcerer, and the demon of the sea. Apparently, Rahad approached Chise Hitori to ask about the necklace she was wearing, and it was revealed that the necklace Chise Hitori wore was actually a necklace made by Rahad and gifted to Ainsworth Aliast. Later Rahad asks Chise Hitori a deep question, “Who are you to Elias Ainsworth?”.
Rahad invites Chise Hitori to her home to sit and chat while consuming some refreshments in order to lighten the mood. Everyone receives coffee from Rahad as they carry on their conversation and begin to discuss Linden and Elias. Later, Rahad admits that she was friends with Elias, that they traveled extensively together, and that Elias once lodged at Rahad’s home.
