Yamane’s parents soon arrive, and they are delighted to meet Rintaro, who is very nice.

Rintaro believes that because he has a new girlfriend who is stronger than him, it is his responsibility to protect her and be a man despite his inferiority. Soon after, a foreigner taller than Yamane arrives at the location and, upon learning that Rintaro is her boyfriend, challenges him to a sumo match, claiming that a strong one will have Yamane.
Rintaro accepts the challenges in the hopes of proving that he can protect Yamane, but before the match even begins, a bear appears and Rintaro says he will scare it away to show that he is bigger, so he uses wooden swords and yells out that he loves Yamane, scaring the bear away.
As the chapter concludes, we see Yamane and Rintaro sleeping on the same futon, which makes the latter very happy.
