These matches will primarily take place in primetime on Mondays and Tuesdays from January to March, with 15 regular-season matchups, a four-team playoff, and a best-of-three finals to determine the first-ever TGL champion. The unique match format includes two distinct sessions: the first features a 3-vs-3 alternate-shot format over holes 1-9, followed by head-to-head singles play on holes 10-15. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins, with each hole worth one point.

Teams can also amplify the stakes by using “The Hammer,” which doubles the point value of any hole. With a shot clock, timeouts, and high-intensity competition, the TGL promises an engaging, fast-paced viewing experience. The league boasts a stellar lineup of golf stars, including Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and more. Matches will be broadcast on ESPN, with live streaming available on Fubo. The season will culminate in the finals on March 25, where the inaugural TGL champion will be crowned.
