Migos Rapper Takeoff, who was recently shot dead had stated in an interview earlier this year, that the trio would ‘Always Be Family’, despite having a beef with fellow bandmate Offset
Migos is an American hip-hop group that consisted of three rappers – Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset.
Takeoff, Quavo And Offset Migos Members Beef Explained
Takeoff’s death hits diff when u realise the Migos were actually family. The guilt both Offset and Quavo must be feeling is immeasurable. Fact that they will never be able to reconcile together as a three and squash the petty beef they had should be a real eye opener for everyone

The way Takeoff was genuine & humble and his life was taken short by a coward, this better bring Quavo & Offset back together and put whatever beef they have to rest… https://t.co/6cq9w290Eb

The trio share a very close relationship as all three of them grew up together like brothers. While Quavo and Offset are cousins, Takeoff was Quavo’s nephew and Takeoff’s mother (Quavo’s older sister) raised all three of them together.
Takeoff Shot Dead
Migos rapper Takeoff was shot dead in Houston, just a few days back around 2:30 am on Tuesday, November 1. Following his death, fans are eager to know if the 28-year-old still had a beef with Offset back then.
The tragic incident occurred at a bowling alley where Takeoff was reportedly playing a dice game with Migos bandmate Quavo. They were attending a bowling party as part of Jay Prince’s birthday party.
Following the police officers’ arrival, Takeoff was already dead while two others were injured and later taken to the hospital.
Were Takeoff And Offset Having A Beef
While it’s true that both Takeoff and Quavo were having a beef with Offset the reasons are still unclear. The Migos who were originally a trio became a duo back in early 2022 as Offset split from the group.
However, Quavo stated that it was a family issue during an appearance on the Big Facts podcast in October 2022. He clarified that their beef had nothing to do with any label, paperwork, QC, or anything related to the band.
Quavo further added that it was just something among the brothers and they would currently keep performing as a duo for the time being. Despite the beef among the three, Quavo and Takeoff still held a lot of love for Offset.
Takeoff shared that despite the beef the trio are a family and would always be one, and assured that nothing would change that.
A Band Of ‘Brothers’
Despite technically not being brothers, the trio were still related as Offset and Quavo are cousins, and Takeoff is Quavo’s nephew. And the fact that all three of them grew up together, meant that they all saw each other as brothers.
Back in an interview in 2013 Quavo stated that the three share everything and are basically like brothers. Takeoff also added how he doesn’t see Quavo as his uncle, but more as a brother.
The three of them spent their childhood in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where they began rapping together in 2008. They initially started out under the name Polo Club, before changing their name to Migos.
Offset stated in an interview back in 2016 that the three of them are his immediate family and the only people he knows.
Takeoff Was ‘The Best One’
Despite their beef the trio were still pretty close, and their relationship with one another, trumped over their feud. Back in 2018, Offset teared up while talking about Takeoff in an interview. He stated that Takeoff was “the best one out of all of us”.
He repeated the same while Quavo sat beside him agreeing.
