Now a neohuman, Eun-Hyeok desires to kill Yi-Su in order to get rid of the monster that lives inside of her. But Hyun-Su stops him because he wants to keep her safe. Like he did with her mother Yi-Kyung (Lee Si-Young), he thinks he can bring her human version back.

However, Hyun-Su is taken off the battlefield by a creature that flies like a bat. That’s when Yi-Su is attacked by Eun-Hyeok. Inside the monster, the human form of Yi-Su gains control and permits Eun-Hyeok to attack the victim. Yi-Su suffers terrible injuries as a result, and the monster emerges from her body.

After battling the flying monster, Hyun-Su dashes over to Yi-Su. She also begs Hyun-Su to put an end to the conflict and kill his father.

Hyun-Su returns to the battlefield in the third season of Sweet Home’s conclusion to confront Sang-Won’s monster. As he becomes aware of Pyeon Sang-Wook’s (Lee Jin-Wook) vulnerability to Hyun-Su, he soon discovers that it has retaken control of his body.

The third-season conclusion of Sweet Home reveals to viewers that the conflict between the monsters and humans has come to an end. Just before that, Yu Oh-Seong’s character, Sergeant Tak In-Hwan, aids the other survivors in escaping the battlefield after turning into a monster. Even in the shape of a monster, he aids others. Sergeant Kim Young-Hoo (Kim Mu-Yeol) assumes leadership after the war and tends to the surviving.

Hyun-Su, the soldiers, and the other survivors encounter a group of neohumans toward the conclusion of the K-drama. They decide to give them space among themselves despite some conservation. The closing scene features Hyun-Su and Eun-Hyeok meeting on a building’s rooftop.

The two witness Eun-Yoo, engrossed in music, strolling over the roof’s edge. They smile and look at her. Although it appears that she has transformed into a neohuman, there is still hope that her human emotions may survive. Hyun-Su refers to this new era as their “Sweet Home” as the K-drama comes to a close.
