Yi-Kyung chases in a second military vehicle that was taken during the gap. They find and save a child, and when they ask her if she has seen any other forces like them. In response, she leads them to the location where their buddy is being held hostage. Yi-Kyung had carbon monoxide poisoning and was losing her sanity. So, they are unable to save her and choose to let her pass away.
When Hyun Su inquires about the health of everybody, Eun-Yu replies that almost everybody has passed away, even Ji-Su. Then Eun-Yu inquires about her brother, he replies that he saw him and found him to be well, without seeing anything out of the ordinary. Then, because Yi-Kyung’s daughter’s mother is terminally ill, Hyun Su travels to get her.

Yes, Lee Eun Hyuk is alive in the final scene of Sweet Home season 2. While turmoil broke at the Green Flats, an embryo unexpectedly spewed out Lee Eun-hyuk. It revealed that he was still living but in the form of a monster. The commander, Tak In-hwan, had shown symptoms of the monster’s infestation when Dr. Lim saw him. They came to a compromise wherein Dr. Lim would remain silent about the virus in return for his release.
Dr. Lim alleged to have seen monsters in their creation when they visited the Green Home intricate. He chose to remain there as he talked to a centipede while things collapsed. Sergeant Kim and his group, in the meantime, located their lost buddy and saved a child.
