What is the amount of NFL Prize Money that participating clubs receive?
Teams that received a first round bye or winning players in the Wild Card round took home $45,000 in prize money. The Divisional round added an additional $50,500 to this, thus according to the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, the contenders for this year’s Conference Championship have already taken home a cool $95,500 apiece.
With the ultimate Super Bowl prize money increasing by $7,000 year, this year’s payout is the highest amount ever given out during the playoffs.
NFL Prize Money For 2023-24 Conference Champions
All players competing for the AFC and NFC championships will receive $69,000 this season, win or lose.
How much are the NFL players paid for the Super Bowl?
We don’t yet have the information regarding what Super Bowl LVIII Winners will get paid in 2024, but in 2023, players on the winning team received $157,000.
This is more than the year before, which saw each member of the winning team received $150,000 and this cash bonus was up $20,000 from 2020, when the winners of the Super Bowl each took home $130,000.
Last year, the losing team earned $82,000 for each player and the year before that, each member of the losing team received $75,000, which is half the amount that the champions earned. This cash bonus was up $10,000 from 2020, when the losers of the Super Bowl took home $65,000.
