2022 Sultan of Johor Cup is a prestigious international men’s under-21 field hockey tournament and will be tenth edition of this prestigious event. From October 22 to October 29, 2022, this event will take place in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Six teams in total are vying for the championship, like in previous seasons.

Sultan of Johor Cup India vs Malaysia Result, Score, Latest Standings, & Other Details
On Saturday, India’s junior men’s hockey team began their 2022 Sultan of Johor Cup campaign by defeating Malaysia 5-2. India scored goals in the game through Amandeep, Araijeet Singh Hundal, Boby Singh Dhami, Sudeep Chirmako, and Sharda Nand Tiwari. Meanwhile, Shahmie Irfan Suhaimi and Muhammad Mamat scored goals for Malaysia.
In other games played on Saturday, Australia defeated Japan by score of 3-2 despite late efforts by Japanese team. Elsewhere, Great Britain won 4-1 against South Africa thanks to brace from Rory Penrose. Following these results, India, Australia, & England have raced to an early-lead over their opponents. India will play their next match against South Africa on Sunday while Australia will continue their campaign with match against Malaysia. In another match of Sunday, Great Britain will clash against Japan.
