New Delhi, 15 May, 2025: A special registration camp was organized in Kalkaji area under the ambitious health scheme “Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana” launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi
This camp was organized especially for senior citizens aged 70 years and above under the joint aegis of Kalkaji People’s Foundation & YSS Foundation. The camp was successfully held from 10:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Sri Durga Mata Mandir, Gali No. 15-16, Guru Ravidas Marg, Govindpuri, Kalkaji. Founder President of Kalkaji People’s Foundation Smt. Kanchan Garg said that this scheme is the result of the farsighted thinking of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and it is our duty to extend its benefits to the most needy people of the society.
Chief Patron of the Foundation Sh. Kapil Garg said that we are committed to make this historic scheme of the Hon’ble Prime Minister reach the people and more such camps will be organized in future. On this occasion, senior social worker Smt. Rita Garg, Sh. Bhagirathi Pandit Ji, Pandit Rajesh Kumar Pandey Ji, President of the YSS Foundation Sh. Sachin Gupta etc. also made their important contribution.
The objective of the camp was to provide the senior citizens the benefit of free health insurance up to Rs. 5 lakh annually under the public welfare scheme of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Narendra Modi. During this registration campaign, information related to documents verification, registration and related to scheme were provided.
This event was led by the Chief Patron of Kalkaji People’s Foundation Sh. Kapil Garg and Founder President Smt. Kanchan Garg. Also, the workers working on behalf of Kalkaji People’s Foundation were honored by giving them certificates. Card making, process of the scheme, benefits and information about hospitals were also provided by volunteers working in Shri Durga Mata Mandir, Yamuna Parivar Council and Sankalp Ek Pehal and YSS Foundation.
Local citizens and elderly beneficiaries found this camp very useful and commendable and expressed their gratitude to both the foundations. Hundreds of senior citizens participated in the camp and got themselves registered after documents verification. Local citizens praised this event and demanded more such camps in future.
